Food Tank, in partnership with the Visit Sacramento,
Farm-to-Fork Program, and University of California- Davis, is excited to announce the
1st annual Farm Tank Conference at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. This two-day event will feature more than 35 different speakers from the food and agriculture
field, including Land-Based Learning's Executive Director Mary Kimball.
Day 1 - Industry Panels at the Hyatt Regency - Hear from farmers, chefs, business owners, government officals and more during riveting panel discussions moderated by leading national and regional journalists.
Day 2 - In-the-Field Excursions - Get your boots dirty during day-long excursions to regional farms, ranches, food banks, restaurants, suppliers including the Center for Land-Based Learning. Tours will showcase how the Sacramento are can serve as a model for the rest of the country. This is a can’t miss event for 2016!

You're invited to McBridgefest 2016 on the Mike McGowan Bridge! This family-friendly event will connect
Farm-to-Fork the community way by bridging the gaps among our many wonderful and diverse communities
here in West Sacramento.
The party is free and will include a Farmers Market, featuring Land-Based Learning's West Sacramento Urban farmers. Also featuring a kid’s play area with bounce houses, a live band, savory food trucks and wine and beer available for purchase. This event is brought to you by the City in partnership with the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, the West Sacramento Foundation and the Center for Land-Based Learning. The Mike McGowan bridge is on S. River Road at the Barge Canal.

Come celebrate the launch of our aggregation facility for the West Sacramento Urban Farms made possible through a partnership with Yolo Brewing Co.
Meet a Farmer and taste the best of the region, growing in your own backyard! Farmers will be offering free tastings of their hyperlocal delicious produce. Said produce will also be available for sale and certain items featured by the chefs at Cowtown Urban Eatery!
