SLEWS Academy

Network

The purpose of the SLEWS Network is to help participants in the SLEWS Academy stay connected to Center for Land-Based Learning and partner organizations.

The SLEWS Network will:

  • Be open to all participants of the SLEWS Academy
  • Connect the community of CLBL-certified practitioners who are applying SLEWS methods throughout California
  • Provide an ongoing opportunity to transfer knowledge and share new practices as participants implement the SLEWS Program in their communities

The SLEWS Network will consist of:

  • In person gatherings
  • An online site for sharing resources, asking questions, and highlighting new opportunities
  • Webinars to continue incorporating the best practices in outdoor youth development and science education
  • Coordinated exchanges to visit and learn from other programs
