Celebrations, Weddings and Parties at the Farm on Putah Creek
From the shade of our century old olive trees the only sound is birdsong, fading at sunset to the chirping of frogs and crickets. Surrounded by walnut orchards, gardens, hedgerows, and waterways, the farm on Putah Creek is a perfect location for a celebration.
The lawns and grounds surrounding the farmhouse overlook orchards, creek, and the mountains to the west affording a fabulous view of the sunset. Here, in the shade of ancient walnut, olive, and oak trees, is an ideal place for outdoor celebrations of up to 350 people.
Rain or shine the farmhouse, built in 1896, is a cozy place for gatherings of up to 35 guests. In winter you can watch storms move across the valley through the rippled antique windowpanes. In summer you can enjoy the chirping of crickets from its wrap around porch.
The Rustic Barn is another great location for a party. Put a pot of cider on the stove, plug in the twinkle lights (Or your decorations of choice!) and let the dance begin! The barn also has an attached outdoor kitchen for your barbecuing pleasure.
Around the farm there are many potential wedding ceremony sites. Your guests can sit in the shade of our olive tree lined driveway while you exchange vows under the arching branches. Or you might choose to be wed on the wrap around porch of our farmhouse. Our 150 seat amphitheater overlooking the garden and creek in the distance also makes a lovely backdrop for a wedding.
