Antonio Gonzalez is a proud Sacramento native with family roots in Mexico. His passion for environmental justice and education led him to join the Center for Land-Based Learning in September, 2024 as the SLEWS coordinator for the Sacramento/San Joaquin region.
Antonio comes from an education background having taught grades 4-8 in a variety of subjects. After spending seven years living in Berlin, Germany, Antonio looks forward to re-establishing roots in the Sacramento area by getting involved in volunteer opportunities with underserved communities especially in areas of food access and health.
