Dawn Miller has worked in the areas of adult education, organization development, change management, training and communication since 1988. She currently works for Pearson VUE, a leader in administering high-stakes, proctored exams that require the industry’s most secure testing environments. Pearson VUE is part of Pearson, the world's largest learning company with more than 35,000 employees working across the globe.

Prior to joining Pearson VUE, Dawn worked as Director of Organization and Workforce Development for the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), and as Director of Human Resources Development for Longs Drug Stores, a California-based retail chain. At both companies, Dawn led the Organization Development practice and the internal training organizations.

Dawn received her B.S. in Organizational Behavior from University of San Francisco and Master of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine. She recently completed certification as a Veterinary Assistant, to support her love of working with animals.

Dawn joined the Center for Land-Based Learning Board of Directors in 2016.
