Land-Based Learning Board Member Briana Gibbs

Briana Gibbs

The Maples | Hidden Grove | Clark Collective

Briana Gibbs is the Business Operations Manager at The Maples, Hidden Grove, and Clark Collective. She graduated from Sacramento State with a degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism with a minor in Business Administration. Her focus on events and marketing made her a perfect fit to later coordinate 100+ events and successfully manage the event venue, The Maples.

She has always had a passion for Hospitality and exceptional guest service. Her professional experience ranges from restaurants, a Disneyland internship, a winery tasting room, marketing, and weddings/special events. She thrives on growing and learning new things, which is how she began managing multiple renovation projects, designing and developing a new event venue from scratch, expanding her landscape knowledge, and managing the budget and financial planning within the company.

Because she has been with the Clark Collective/Clark Pacific family for 5+ years, she observed all stages of Center for Land-Based Learning's move to The Maples. Check-ins with the CLBL team has given her some knowledge of their impact, but not enough to be an advocate. Her interest in becoming a board member is to develop a better understanding of what is in her work backyard and help support the agricultural community. Briana admires CLBL's mission and continuous growth through various programs like the Mobile Market and SLEWS and is excited to contribute in any way she can.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening (new obsession with growing heirloom tomatoes!), spending time with her sweet husband and family, wine tasting, trying new restaurants, watching Friends, hiking, and traveling.
