Anna Tolle


Apprenticeship Program Coordinator


Anna joined CLBL as the Apprenticeship Program Coordinator in August 2020. From an early age, Anna formed a strong and lasting connection with food and nature. Born and raised on a small family farm in rural Wisconsin, she learned the basics of vegetable growing, food preservation, and animal husbandry. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a B.S. in Environmental Studies, Nonprofit Management, and Spanish.

Previously employed in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Anna has long been interested in sustainable food sourcing and agricultural education as a way to strengthen people’s connection to community and the earth. Anna is also passionate about building sustainable communities and plans to go back to school for Urban and Environmental Planning.

Anna enjoys hiking with her dog, cooking, horseback riding, and tending to her numerous houseplants.
