Morgan Caudill

Urban Ag Internship Program Manager

Morgan is the Sacramento Valley & San Joaquin FARMS Leadership Program and Youth Internship Manager. She's a transplant from the east coast and an educator who believes no human should ever stop learning and growing. Morgan received her B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Teaching at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. Over the last seven years, she's had the opportunity to teach and learn from an incredible and diverse array of students within multiple non-traditional educational settings, centering her teaching around social justice informed curriculum, restorative justice practices, student leadership opportunities, and social and emotional learning.

While her passion for education has always been constant, Morgan's love for agriculture was a bit of a late bloomer. She grew up helping out on her father's organic beef farm, but it wasn't until after college that she came to understand the true peace and fulfillment that growing from the earth can bring. She's now dedicated endless hours working in her family's fruit orchards, building her own edible gardens, and starting multiple gardening programs at her previous places of work. In her most recent agriculture venture, Morgan spent six months WWOOFing (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms) on a variety of different farms throughout her time living and travelling in New Zealand Aotearoa, including an ecolodge and vineyard, a macadamia nut farm, a self-sustainable community, and a sustainable educational farm.

Morgan is beyond excited to join the CLBL team and unite her passion for education and agriculture in a more formal setting. When not on the job, you can find Morgan adventuring in the woods with her beloved dog Nellie, puttering around her backyard gardens, reading in the sun, enjoying laughs with loved ones, and soaking in live music.
