Christine McMorrow

Director of Development

Christine joined the Center for Land-Based Learning as the Director of the FARMS Leadership program in March 2013. In 2014, she was promoted to Director of Development and Communications. Prior to that, Christine served as Executive Director for Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships, where she designed and implemented environmental service learning projects for k-12 youth throughout North Lake Tahoe and Truckee.

Since graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Crop Science, Christine has earned her Master of Arts in teaching and served as a Rotary International Ambassador of Peace and Goodwill in New Zealand, where she studied environmental education. She has been active in community groups, serving on non-profit, school and community boards. Christine is an alumna of the Sacramento Metro Chamber, Leadership Sacramento program (LS17) and is currently serving as a mentor for a foster youth. Christine enjoys mountain biking, stand-up paddling and camping.
