Christine Calvin is a 20-year communications expert, writer, business coach, and entrepreneur. She loves fostering and developing teams and culture, garnering buy-in, and deploying top-tier strategies for optimum results. Christine sits on the board of Visit Sacramento and was a CLBL board member before joining the team as the Director of Advancement. She has been named one of the Sacramento Business Journal’s “40 Under 40”, is a graduate of Leadership Sacramento, is a fellow of the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program, and a graduate of the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy. In 2018, Christine and her husband Scott decided to reprioritize their life, start farming, and commit to their values of building community, living simply, and loving richly. Killdeer Farms is located in West Sacramento and produces cut flowers, lavender and pumpkins.
