Stephanie Mills grew up in Corning, California, a small town located in Tehama County. She was raised on her parents’ stone fruit orchards where she found her natural love and passion for agriculture. Once she started at Red Bluff High School she became heavily involved with FFA competing on various CDE and LDE teams as well as holding various officer positions. Her most notable experiences through FFA was being recognized as the Tehama County Young Farmer of the Year and earning her American Degree in 2021. She graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture Education and a minor in Food Sciences in Fall of 2022. Stephanie was hired on to CLBL in July of 2022 as the North State FARMS Leadership Coordinator serving high school students in several surrounding counties. Stephanie was a member of both the Tehama County FARMS Leadership and Advanced FARMS Leadership programs during her time in high school and now serving as the coordinator she is eager to provide students with the same outstanding experiences that she had. During her free time Stephanie loves spending time with her family and friends, working in the orchards, selling fruit at farmers markets, going to country concerts and traveling across the states.
